Real estate in San Diego (part II)
Here are the information I got (not bad IF ONLY I WORK IN THE US!! AND HAVE MANAGERIAL STATUS *calm down Nico*):
La Jolla real estate prices range from $300,000 to over $21 million whereas La Jolla property types include single-family, residential, commercial, town-homes and condominiums. According to experts, the present is a great time to buy real estate in La Jolla. On a positive note for buyers (sorry, sellers) the La Jolla home market has slowed to a normal market so there aren’t multiple offers to worry about. Additionally, with interest rates rising and prices softening, sellers are prepared to negotiate prices and conditions.
And some information about La Jolla;
La Jolla is home to some of the most picturesque spots in San Diego. This is why it is a highly coveted area to live in. Knowing San Diego’s real estate reputation the prices reflect this. The famous Black’s beach, La Jolla’s beautiful cove, and Windansea are three perfect examples of why people want to live here. Check out some of the other amazing La Jolla communities as well.
Take your camera and just shoot pictures without using the viewfinder and you’ll still come home with postcard-quality shots. Just a quick ride along the streets neighboring the shoreline is enough to motivate you to succeed.
Apart from its physical beauty, La Jolla is highly political. Because of its businesses and investor capital, La Jolla boasts a powerful town council. There are many community groups that work to unify the town. In fact, La Jolla is the only town within the city limits of San Diego that the post office recognizes on the “city” line in addresses. There is a tight community feel to the town of La Jolla.
If you are planning on starting a family or have young children at home and you can afford to buy a house or condo here you may as well have struck gold as far as education is concerned. You have a plethora of choices among them is the country’s top-ranking public education system. Many people strive to live as far north in Pacific Beach, which lies to the south of La Jolla and is considerably cheaper in real estate pricing, because they may fall within the boundaries of the coveted La Jolla public school system.
And if you have a flair for the celebrity dramatic, you may even find it exciting that you could rub elbows with Raquel Welch, Anne Rice, Doug Flutie, other celebrities who live or vacation in La Jolla at the local Vons grocery store.
