What You See Makes You Safe

By Nico Yan On September 13, 2007 Under Uncategorized

Do you want to know who comes in and out of your room? Or do you want see what’s going on in your house while you are out? Well this questions can be answered when you buy a surveillance camera which cost a little than what you just need. I want one but I don’t have the budget to buy one and also I don’t have the time to setup one. So when I was surfing around I found this site that offers this kind of service.

HomeCamera is an Internet home surveillance service that has been designed for regular folks – people who need an easy-to-use (yet full-featured) home monitoring solution, without spending thousands of dollars on fancy equipment, and without enlisting the help of the neighbourhood tech genius.

You just need a webcam (works with all of them) and a PC, the webcam as your home camera and the pc to be used as medium. You need to sign up to their site and follow the instructions so that you can use their service. The images can be send to your email or directly to your mobile phone.

I like this service because I don’t have to go and buy a surveillance camera and set it up. I have a webcam and PC that I can use instead. I recommend this to people who cares about security. It’s better that those bulky surveillance cameras!

This is a great service for those who wants to know what’s happening to their room or their house. You will feel secure even if you’re not at home, just login to your account from any browser on any pc or from your PDA or mobile phone. You can access this as many times as you like, all day and night from anywhere in the world.

Also its free for the meantime because it’s still on beta stages but they have a lot of beta testers who will receive special discount once it becomes commercial. So why wait? Get an account now!

I asked around their support team if I could blog about their service and they replied that I should be fair and impartial on what I will write on this blog.
