Windows Vista Ultimate And Mac OSX Tiger

By Nico Yan On June 22, 2007 Under Uncategorized

I’m running Windows Vista Ultimate and MacOSX 10 dual boot at home.

MacOSX is really faster and I’m running it on a Intel Pentium Celeron D processor though I have problems on a couple of drivers, my audio and modem. But I have no problems on applications and softwares within the operating system. I’m still on a newbie stage of learning OSX menus, applications and other stuff. It runs smoothly from boot up to shutdown.

Windows Vista Ultimate is the new operating system by Microsoft. I have been a beta tester since beta 1 and it improves a lot since then. At first it was called Windows Longhorn and later on renamed to Windows Vista. The look and feel is much like of the OSX counterpart though Microsoft says both are different. The Aero skin is what people are talking about, also the Window Sidebar helps a lot. You really have a better computer spec to run this though.

There are a lot of desktop enhancements that will get your Windows XP look like and feels like these 2 operating system and you don’t have to sacrifice resources on these programs. I’ll post more about these programs later on.

Oh I’m running Windows XP here at the office but it looks like Windows Vista
